Dr.S.Karuna Raju, DC Ferozepur congratulating Anantpal, conferred with title of Voice of PUNJAB
Ferozepur, September 3, 2012 : Ferozepur born youth Anantpal, 24-year-old, hailing from Malwal near Ferozeur, was congratulated by Dr.S.Karuna Raju, deputy commissioner, Ferozepur on bagging the title of “PTC Voice of Punjab” at the final round of the show organized in Amritsar .
Anantpal is son of a rickshaw-puller, having studied in the village school up to Class V, helps his father in household affairs after the death of his mother 12 years ago but he did not leave his passion for singing.
He was among 64 who had qualified for the quarter finals.
Dr.Raju expressed his views on meeting Anantpal of village Malwal near Ferozepur and assured to write to the Punjab Government for financial assistance besides making an appeal to Janmeja Singh Sekhon, Irrigation Minister also.
