Jalandhar, December 31, 2014: In continuation to the Afternoon Session of Day I of Faculty Development Programme at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, Day II began with yet another interesting unfolding of knowledge treasure-trove. Dr Ashish Arora, the Coordinator of the Event and Assistant Prof. in Commerce and Management, GNDU College, Jalandhar, started the proceedings of the day and delivered an illuminating talk on how to prepare a business model; different costs and their dimensions; use of technology in the implementation of the model and the crucial role of the teacher in motivating the student community to start with the entrepreneurial business with a goal/result oriented vision.
The participants of the event were given an assignment on 'Business Plan' with its financial and technical details for business. This assignment is to be presented on the penultimate day of the Workshop. However, on the third session of Day II, Prof.Gurvinder Singh, Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar was slated to deliver an informative session on 'Big Data and Cloud Computing and its Role and Implementation in the Entrepreneurial Business'.
Dr. Sucharita, Principal of the College lauded the efforts of the scholars and the participants and hope that all will be benefited from this knowledge pool.
