Chandigarh, December 4, 2019: The third day of 21days’ National Program on Assessment and Management of Children with Learning Disabilities from 2nd to 22nd December 2019, organised by Centre for Academic Leadership and Education Management (CALEM), Department of Education, Panjab University, Chandigarh was initiated by Prof Raj K. Gupta (Program Coordinator). In the first technical session, Ms. Apoorva Panshikar from SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai informed the participants about meaning, signs and symptoms of Dyslexia. She explained about the areas of assessment in the second session. She stressed that parents often find it hard to accept that there is a real problem and hence most of the times they misinterpret the situation. In the subsequent session, she threw light on the varied tools use to diagnose children with dyslexia. PU VC VISITED EXAMINATION CENTRES AT PU Chandigarh, December 4, 2019: Panjab University, Vice Chancellor Prof. Raj Kumar visited the examination centres of the ongoing semester exams at PU. He examined the facilities at the centres and asked the officials to be alert with respect to be watchful for peaceful conduct of examinations.
