DAV College, Jalandhar marks its presence at the North Zone Youth Festival

Western Group Song stood first and Western Solo stood Second

Jalandhar, January 2, 2019: DAV College marks its presence at the North Zone Youth Festival in Western Music taking place at Punjab University.The noticeable thing is that The DAV College's Western Music Team is the part of Guru Nanak Dev University and it took part as the team Of Guru Nanak Dev University in the North Zone Youth Festival in which showing its brilliant performance the first position was bagged in Western Group Song and Second position in Western Solo.

On this Ocassion College Principal Dr. S.K.Arora while showing his happiness said that this is a proud moment for our college. This team also won by performing brilliantly at the Zonal and InterZonal Youth Festival and now also won at the North Zone Youth Festival by keeping up this brilliant performance .This is the result of their hardwork. He congratulated the members of Western Team. Along with this he also congratulated Dean EMA Dr. J.R.Garg and Music Team Incharge Prof. Navdeep .

Deputy Dean EMA Dr.Sanjiv Dhawan congratulated the Music Team . He said that their hardwork gave them the results and made them the winner. There is lack of words to show the happiness of this achievement. This is a memorable moment.

Western Group Team stood first in Group Song and the members of the team were Gaurav Kaler (Gavy),Hanu,Neha Kakkar, Snehal Airy ,Abhijeet Bhandari ,Ritesh Rawat whereas In the Western solo ,Hanu took part and bagged second position . All these participated were prepared under the supervision and by Prof. Navdeep who is also their Music Incharge. Prof. Navdeep said that they were doing hardwork from the last 5 months and during these 5 months the students have given their entire time to music and this result is only due to their dedication and hardwork. This is a moment of happiness for them.
