Jalandhar, August 18, 2015: The university results of commerce department of DAV College remained outstanding. Priyanka Taneja became a "Gold medalist" in Mcom .
DAV College secured 5 positions in the merit list of the university exams.
A brilliant student of Mcom semester 4 "Priyanka Taneja " became the gold medalist by securing 1767/2200 marks and she thanked her teachers and family and attributed her success to classroom learning , self study and the support rendered to her by her family.
Harjot Kaur scored 1751/2200 and stood 4th in the university , and said concentration , hard work , advices by the teachers and parents are the essence to success . She attributed her success to her teachers , family , concentration and regular studies .
Sonia Kashyap scored 1708/2200 and secured 8th position in the university while Priyanka Shoor secured 10th position by securing 1701/2200. Ravinder kaur scored 1684/2200 and stood 12th in the university.
Principal DR B B Sharma congratulated the meritorious students and on their outstanding success along with appreciating and congratulating the HOD of Commerce department Prof Vijay Gupta , Prof Vijay Sareen , Prof Arun Mehra and other members of the department.
As a matter of fact, it's a thing of joy that DAV College has already appointed Priyanka Taneja , Harjot Kaur and Sonia Kashyap as assistant professors
