Dalai Lama gives warm welcome to Morari Bapu

Dharamsala (Himachal Pradesh), September 22, 2012: Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama and spiritual guru Morari Bapu were seen together here today.   

Morari Bapu  was here in connection with nine-day Ram Katha at Police Ground.

The Dalai Lama gave him a warm welcome.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the religious event, the Dalai Lama said India was the only example where more than 100 crore people of different religions were living in harmony.

The Dalai Lama said to Morari Bapu that he was happy that the latter did not confine himself to the temples.

Adding, he said he was happy because Morari Bapu came out to preach people the lesson of truth and honesty.
Further, he opined that it was the right time when the religious leaders of the Nation should guide the countrymen to keep them away from corruption and injustice.
He said though the money was important for life, but without peace it too could not help.
