CTU students play various sports games under ‘Fit India Movement’
Ludhiana, August 29, 2019: CT University celebrated ‘National Sports Day’ by organising various sports events for students and live-streamed the session on the launch of ‘Fit India Movement’ by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Both boys and girls played various games like Basketball, Volleyball, Football and Tug of War where students represented their schools. Congratulating the winners, Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor, said, “I congratulate the entire nation that we have official launched the practice of “Fit India Movement’ and I am blessed to have team CTU contributing their bit to it. A healthy workforce develops healthy nation.” Dr Parveen Sharma, Head of Department of Sports and Physical Education said, “We are making this day dedicated to fitness. We also thank PM Modi that he launched such a great movement and we will proceed for the same and encourage one another.”
