CTPC hosts PTIS Zonal Cricket Tournament for boys

Pandit Jagat Ram Govt Polytechnic College Hoshiarpur & St Soldier Polytechnic College, Jalandhar qualifies for inter-zonal tournament

Jalandhar, February 16, 2018: CT Polytechnic College hosted Punjab Technical Institutes Sports (PTIS) zonal two-day cricket tournament for boys at CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur. The Chief Guest for the opening ceremony was Sh.Jagjit Singh, SP, Detective, Kapurthala escorted by ASI Sh. Mandeep Sharma, International Coach, Jagjit Wrestling Academy.

Vice Chairman of CT Group Mr.Harpreet Singh, and CTPC Principal Mr.Sansar Chand were also present during the tournament. In zone 2, 16 teams participated across Punjab namely Government Polytechnic College Bathinda, Government Polytechnic College Batala, Sai Polytechnic College, Badhani, Ramgarhia Polytechnic College, Phagwara, CTPC Jalandhar and SBS Ferozepur etc.

While addressing the teams, Sh. Jagjit Singh said that sports play a vital role in the overall fitness of the people and such tournaments give boost to the budding cricketers to perform well.

S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group of Institutions congratulated the winners and performers of the tournament. He also thanked the participating teams for their remarkable performances at the event.
