Jalandhar, November 30, 2018: Electronics & Communication Engineering Department of CT Institute of Technology & Research, (CTITR) Maqsudan organized a workshop on Robotics Designing using Arduino for the students of CT Public School. Robin Chadha, Assistant Professor, CTITR enlightened the students on the concepts of Arduino.

It was conducted with an aim to expose the students regarding the use of Arduino in robotics designing and automation. Arduino is open-source hardware and software company, project and user community that designs and manufactures single-board microcontrollers and microcontroller kits for building digital devices and interactive objects that can sense and control objects in the physical and digital world.

Students were given an introduction of Arduino and hands on experience were given to the students regarding the use of Arduino along with temperature sensor. The students were able to sense the temperature of the room and results were displayed on the screen.

Er. Anurag Sharma, Vice Principal, CT Institute of Technology made the students aware about the future prospects of Robotic designing. He enlightened the students on the new technologies like IoT and their use in daily life. He also threw light on the career opportunities in this field. He made the students clear about the demand of the industry, what skills they are looking for; so that students can prepare themselves accordingly.

Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, Campus Director, Maqsudan said these type of sessions help students to choose the right career path.
