CT Varsity students bag 3 gold medals in Golf Championship

Ludhiana, April 18, 2019: Students of CT University have bagged 3 Gold and 1 Bronze medal in All India Inter University Mini Golf Championship held at private University in Phagwara.

Manpreet Singh, a second year student of Bachelors in Physical Education won 2 gold and 1 bronze medal and Rahil, a second year student of BCA Cyber Security won one gold medal. Both dedicated their win to the sports department of CTU. Sharing about his experience Manpreet said, “It was a wonderful and challenging platform to compete against other professional players in this championship. It was a learning experience.”

Congratulating the students, Dr Pravin Sharma, Directorate of Sports said, “A student must not only be focusing on studies rather expose themselves to sports and games. Such students win laurels for the university and motivate others to bring out their talent.”

Vice Chancellor, Dr Harsh Sadawarti, congratulated and honoured the winners and said, “Students must be brought into such an environment where they get to develop their skills related to sports. I congratulate the students on their win.”
