CTU students and faculty to get trained by IIID experts

Ludhiana, December 17, 2018: CT University (CTU), Ludhiana has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IIID), a nationwide organization for the profession of Interior Design. It works to consolidate and expand the contribution of the Interior Design Profession towards improving quality of life in contemporary and future societies by sharing of knowledge, experience and understanding.

MoU was signed on the behalf of IIID, Pratap Jadhav, President and Manmohan Khanna, Chairman (Chandigarh Chapter) in presence of Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CTU and Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor, CTU.

CTU has well established and functioning School of Design and Innovation for which the MoU was signed. Elaborating about the benefits of the MoU, Ar Geetanjali Kapoor, Head of School told that the students will be studying the practically oriented syllabus by IIID and will get a chance to be a part of workshops conducted by IIID.

Pratap Jadhav further told that the benefits are not just limited to CTU students but extends to faculty members as well, as IIID will provide Faculty training to minimum two of the teachers twice in a year and Faculty will also get updates and online training from time to time by the learned members of IIID.

Managing Director Manbir Singh congratulated the members and said that this collaboration will help in elevating the standards of Interior Design Education and is one of its kind initiatives for the benefit of the Interior Design Department.
