CT University organises Traffic Awareness Drive at Barnala
Ludhiana, February 6, 2019: CT University, Ludhiana organized a Traffic Awareness drive at Barnala City in association with some prominent schools of Barnala like Saravhitakari Sr.Sec.Vidya Mandir School, Stanford International School (Chananwal), Spring Dales Senior Secondary School, Mother Teacher School (Aastha Enclave), Gurpreet Holy Heart Public School (Mahilkalan), Paradise Academy (Hamidi) and Traffic Police Barnala, in which students and police urged masses to follow traffic rules and regulations through attractive posters, slogans, rally and distributed First Aid kits.
Vice Chancellor of University Dr.Harsh Sadawarti said the principal objective of the campaign is to develop consciousness about road safety rules. Apart from the police, state government departments, people have to be responsible to maintain traffic rules.
Sub Inspector-In-charge (Traffic) Mr Gaurvbans Singh said that this weekly campaign is going on under leadership of IPS Officer Harjit Singh and many people were still unaware of the traffic rules and safe driving measures. "These people are reluctant to understand that their lives are precious," This event was attended by faculty members of CT University Mr. Amandeep Tangri, Mr. Nipun Sharma and more than 40 students and Police staff members ASI Jarnail Singh, ASI Jagtar Singh, HC Sukhbir Singh Bhalwan, HC Birbal Singh, HC Sakhdev Singh, HC Jagdev Singh, HC Divan Singh. The campaigned gained popularity as it helped to sensitize people about safe driving.
