CT University launches start up ‘Robonova’

Ludhiana, September 26, 2019: CT University has launched its new start up under the flagship of ‘Robonova’. Under this, Varsity will provide assistance in setting up labs, all over country, in the schools, colleges and universities with the tagline ‘Innovation Begins Here’. The official logo was unveiled by Charanjit Singh Channi, CTU Chancellor and Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor. Robonova is a platform to explore, learn and build robots. It is an emerging trend which gives hands on practical experience and advanced robot study platforms. The curriculum will be based on both practical learning and theory based. Even, the students will be trained by Industry Experts and have regular exposure with workshops based on Breadbotix, Autobotix, Waterbotix, Humanobotix and more. Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor said, “Robonova is an, on campus, lab equipped with all the advanced technologies used in industries. It offers training with the latest curriculum and the industrial requirements. This is put in the zeal to explore, learn, build and share their ideas. These labs, all over the country, will empower the trainees to manage the Robolabs in future. A chain of trainees will be formed which will further produce more and more labs and research. CTU innovators will reach out at labs and provide the best ideas for research.” Manbir Singh, Managing Director said, “CT University is already successfully running its 24*7 working Robotics Lab under which various projects are already accomplished and some are in pipeline. The projects are based on Robotics & Automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning and Internet of Things (IoT).”
