CT University inks pact with ‘LearnVern’
Ludhiana, August 6, 2018: Making students cope up with the increasing trend of online education, CT University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with LearnVern. The objective is to empower the students with E-learning platform for better knowledge and placement opportunities. LearnVern is a free learning portal where students can learn IT Courses for free in their own language. The downloadable video content is made available to them, and can be shared from the android app of LearnVern and also viewed online. Present on the occasion of the signing of the MoU, were S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chancellor; Mr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director; Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor; Dr. Jagtar Singh Dhiman, Registrar; Dr. Gurvinder Singh Bakshi, Dean Academics; Sukhminder Grewal, Director Students’ Affair, Dr. Kamal Malik and all the Heads of School. Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor said, “LearnVern is a platform for both students and teachers. It will provide an e-Learning benefit for CTU and thereby enhance the worth of one’s mother tongue besides promoting regional languages in the area.” Mr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director expressed that this effort will lead to a step up in the practical training of CTU students.
