Ludhiana, September 23, 2019: CT University in association with Wednesday Times, Malerkotla organised ‘CT Intellectual Award Super 100 & Symposium on National Education Policy’. The event was graced by hundred school principals of different schools across region.
The event was inaugurated with a lamp lightening by Charanjit Singh Channi, CTU Chancellor; Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor along with key note speakers.
The key note speakers namely Dr Rehana Salim, Director, Oasis Public School, Malerkotla; Uma Sharma, Principal, PKR Jain Vatika; Dr.Sandeepa Sood, Principal Saffron Public School, Phagwara; Prem Singh Khimta, Principal, Sarvhitkari Vidya Mandir, Malerkotla and Gulshan Kaur, Principal Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula discussed about National Education Policy 2019.
Dr Rehana Salim started off with a Hindi proverb and elaborated further, “In this era of moving ahead with National Education Policy, the involvement of ‘moral values’ is very much important. Without human values, a student is faceless. To fix values: we need: moral formation, moral acceptance and moral enquiry.”
Thereafter, Chancellor CTU had an interactive session with the audience and answered their queries about overcoming hindrances in a child’s education and how to manage during the time of downfall in educational business. He even motivated principals to make teaching a selfless profession.
Further, the super 100 were awarded and the event concluded on a high note.
Vice Chancellor, Dr Harsh Sadawarti said, “National Education Policy can bring revolutions if rightly implemented. The agents of this revolution are Educationists. The super 100 is the foundation pillar that can do wonders. I congratulate them and salute their hard work for laying a benchmark for a student’s career.”
On the occasion, CT Group Shahpur Campus Director Dr. GS Kalra, Maqsudan Campus Director Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, CT Public School Principal Daljeet Rana, HOD Department of Happiness Amrit Kalsi etc were also present.
