CT University felicitates ‘Shining Stars’ of city
967 students from 41 schools honoured for achieving first division in their XII board examination Ludhiana, May 27, 2019: In order to celebrate top performers of 12th from Ludhiana and around, CT University organized ‘Shining Stars’- a felicitation ceremony at its premises. In the felicitation ceremony, 967 students who have achieved first division were honoured for their relentless hard work and efforts. These students came from 41 schools namely Sacred Heart Convent School, Ludhiana; East Wood International School, Mullanpur; Aatam Devki Niketan School, Ludhiana; Ryan International Public School, Ludhiana; Sawanmal Aggarwal Senior Secondary School, Zira; Green Land Convent School, Ludhiana; Shivalik Model Senior Secondary School, Moga; Dashmesh Group of schools, Kot Ise Khan; Dashmesh Public School, Moga; and Bhartiya Vidya Mandir School, Ludhiana; etc. The students were honored with certificates and mementoes. The Chief Guest for the event was Charanjit Singh Channi, Chancellor CT University. He honoured the students in the enlightening presence of Manbir Singh, Managing Director, Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor and other dignitaries. Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor, elaborating about CTU and further applauding the efforts said, “This is not only the hard work of students but it’s a 100% effort by teachers and parents. Scoring well is not an easy task, one needs dedication, concentration and even an entertainment break. 24*7 study never leads to success. One needs to be an all rounder.” Charanjit S Channi, Chancellor, CT University expressed his gratitude to all the students present on this occasion. He said, “Such awards not only appreciate their work but their abilities as well. These awards help to give them due recognition in the society and motivate them to move ahead and rise above their expectations.”
