Ludhiana, November 11, 2017: Honoring teachers for their selfless efforts in changing the lives of students has always showed deep respect for them. Keeping this in mind, CT University organized the ‘Best Teacher Award Ceremony’ at its premises.
The ceremony involved felicitation of 60 teachers and 10 Principals from different schools of Ludhiana like Guru Nanak Public School, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Atam Devki Niketan School and DAV School, Greenfield School of Malerkotla etc. The title of ‘Best Teacher’ based on the survey conducted amongst Principals of various schools as they nominated the name for the teachers who deserves to get the Best Teacher Award for their services.
The event was inaugurated with a lamp lighting ceremony by in the worthy presence of S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chancellor, CT University) and Dr. Harsh Sadarwarti (Pro Vice Chancellor, CT University). They felicitated all the teachers present on this occasion and honoured them with a title of Best Teacher, awarding them a certificate and Memento recognizing their contribution to the teaching profession. The awarded teachers on the occasion shared their teaching experiences with each other during informal lunch at the culmination of the event.
Motivational speaker and life coach Mr. Paarth Ashok Narang addressed the gathering during an exclusive motivational session at the event and stressed on living a life king size and to remain focus towards goals defined.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Harsh Sadarwarti (Pro Vice Chancellor, CT University) described the role of a teacher as that of nation builders and true role models for students. He further added that we at CT University being educationists understand and laud the important role that the teachers play in the overall development of the society.
S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chancellor, CT University) expressed his gratitude to all the teachers present on this occasion. He said, “Such awards not only appreciate their work but their profession as well. These awards help them in giving due recognition in the society.”
