CT Public School wins Sahodaya Inter School Cricket Tournament

Jalandhar, December 5, 2015: It was a joyous moment for CT Group of Institutions that the cricket team of CT Public School lifted the Champions trophy of Sahodaya Inter School Cricket Tournament. This tournament was organized by Sahodaya Independent Schools under the aegis of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) where the winning team got the privilege to host the tournament. Police DAV Public School team was the runners-up of the tournament.
The host, CT Public School played the final match against Police DAV Public School where the former won the toss and choose to bat first. The team scored 154 runs in which Jasvir Singh scored 50 runs and Azam Nagar & Gaurav Chaudhary scored 33 runs each.
As many as 21 teams from various schools of Jalandhar, Phagwara and Hoshiarpur including DIPS, Dayanand Model School, Police DAV Public School and others participated.
The winning teams were honoured by the Chief Guest Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions). While presenting the prizes to the winners, Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions) congratulated them and applauded the dedication of the coaches & their teams for their excellent performance. He urged all the students to participate in sports for their overall growth and personality development.
