CT Public School pays Homage to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam

Jalandhar, August 1, 2015: The sad demise of Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam, the most revered Ex-President of India, sent waves of grief and sorrow among every citizen across the world. He was a great soul, who dedicated his entire life for the welfare of his motherland. In order to pay reverence to the great son of India, the students of CT Public School rose to the occasion and observed 'Black Ribbon Day.'

Students participated in an activity which involved the students of classes VII to X. They designed posters, made collages and framed beautiful captions to express their grief at thiscolossal loss. A two-minute silence was observed by everyone in the school campus praying for the noble soul to rest in peace.

S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) extolled the great achievements of the Missile Man and exhorted the students to tread on the trail left behind by the great leader. He added that Dr. Kalam's departure has left a great void in the country which would be hard to fill. Let’s make our India, the biggest, healthiest and the most prosperous country by 2020 ! Let’s make his Vision come true, he added.
