CT Public School  lifts overall trophy at COLORS 2018

COLORS’18, a two day cultural fiesta concludes at CT Group of Institutions
Jalandhar, January 20, 2018: More than 800 students from 55 schools across region participated on the second and concluding day of cultural festival COLORS 2018 at CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan. The second day of the event was inter-school competition in which students took part in 16 competitive activities like Group Dance, Rangoli, Poster Making, Quiz, Solo Singing, Mehndi, Turban tying and many more. This time, the registration of the colleges and schools, along with the results were done online in the newly made software by the student of CT Group.
CT Public School managed to lift the overall trophy of COLORS 2018, in an inter-school competition whereas Jullunder Model Senior Secondary School bagged runners up trophy. Besides, CT Public School, Maqsudan bagged first and second prizes in Rangoli. The first prize for Quiz goes to CT Public School. CT Public School bagged first prize in Group Dance and first prize in Solo Singing (Folk) goes to Jalandhar Model Senior Secondary School. MGN Public School bagged first prize in Science Buddies and second prize was bagged by CT Public School. Jullunder Model Senior Secondary School bagged first position in turban tying competition whereas Guru Hargobind Public School bagged second position. In the Mehndi event, DSSD Girls Senior Secondary School bagged the first prize.

Apart from its own students, the campus was home to more than 800 students from various schools namely MGN Public School, CT Public School, Mahatma Hans Raj Model Public School, Meritorius Scool, Seth Hukam Chand School, Shree Parvati Jain Co-Ed Senior Secondary School, DSSD Girls Senior Secondary School, Akal Academy and KV 1 Jalandhar Cantonment etc.
To entertain the participants, budding singer Harjot Singh enthralled the audience with his mesmerizing performance.
Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, Campus Director said, “Like every year, we have received a wonderful response from various schools on the concluding day of the event. Students participated with full competitive spirit in various activities and have won the honors. COLORS aim at inspiring the youth to elevate aspirations, stay focused and achieve greater heights. The objective is to bring out the dynamism of the youth of today by providing them platform to perform. On the first day also, we have received wonderful participation from the colleges across Punjab.”
Mr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CT Group said that this is a wonderful platform given to the young students to showcase their talent and we thank all the participants from colleges and schools for participating in this two day cultural event.
