Jalandhar, February 6, 2015: CT Public School won the overall trophy of Colors-2015- a cultural and technical fest organised by CT Group of Institutions. The two days fest concluded at its Maqsudan Campus on Friday. The fest experienced large number of mesmerizing performances by the students in all the events scheduled to show that “Every color has its definition”.

On the second day, more than 950 students participated on the second day of two days cultural and technical fest from the schools across Punjab. Some of the schools include Nehru Senior Secondary School, Government Senior Secondary School Rayya, Shaheed Darshan School Pheruman, St. Soldier Divine School, Junior Model School, SAV School, Parvati Jain School and others. There were scheduled events like- Poster Making, Rangoli, Mehndi, Solo Singing, Pot Painting, LAN Gaming, Flower Arrangement, Caption Contest, Ad Mad Show, Clay Modeling, Folk Dance and many others at the fest.

The Chief Guest for the event Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions), Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions), Harpreet Singh (Vice Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) and Rahul Malhotra (Campus Director, Maqsudan) felicitated the overall winners and all the winning participants of various events from both first day’s- College participations and second day’s School Participations.

The results of the first day events included HMV College for Girls, Jalandhar won the Overall trophy while Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala won the Runners-Up title of the festival. The overall winner of School’s second day events includes CT Public School as overall winner and St. Soldier Divine Public School as Runners-Up.

The dignitaries from college governing body and other educational institutions were also present at the occasion.

Rahul Malhotra (Campus Director, Maqsudan) said, “Winning is not important, but to participated and perform to best of your ability is the priority in all the competitions of life becauseby participating we can explore. Everyone should strive to improve their personal skills and gradually winning will be last outcome of all the participating results for the one.”

Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of all the students who took part in the fest.
