CT Public hosts District Elementary and Primary School Games organised by PSEB

Jalandhar, September 11, 2015: CT Public School got a golden opportunity to host Basketball, Kho-Kho and Volleyball matches for the District School Games organized by Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). 800 participants from 75 schools of Jalandhar District participated in these games  It was a moment of pride for CT Public School to have clinched the third position in the Under - 17 and Under - 19 Girls basketball matches.
Even the CT cricketers carved a niche for themselves by making a mark at the District Tournament. It was a glorious moment for all the three teams of the school i.e. Under -14, Under - 17 and Under - 19 teams when they clinched the 1st position in this prestigious tournament.
There were various events like Kho-Kho, Weightlifting, Athletic, track and others were being played in the tournament.
S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) and Mrs. Ranjana Rajput (Principal, CT Public School) congratulated the winners and encouraged them to achieve higher goals.
Mrs. Ranjana Rajput (Principal, CT Public School) exhorted the students to partake in all games for their general well-being and wellness. She said, “It is a proud moment for us that District Education Department has chosen our school premises to host such a prestigious event. The winning positions by the students have come up as an Icing on the cake. We always try to involve and encourage our students to participate more and more in sports activities to be physically and mentally fit.”
S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) congratulated the winners and performers in the tournament. He stressed on the importance of games and sports activities in our life. He also congratulated the students for their remarkable attempts. It was a successful and memorable event for the students.
