CT Professors receive ISTE Best Teacher Award 2017

Jalandhar, November 22, 2017: It’s a moment of pride for CT Group of Institutions as two professors namely Er.Anurag Sharma, Assistant Professor, CTITR Maqsudan and Er.Varun Nayyar, Assistant Professor, Electronics & Communication, Shahpur campus have received Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) section Best Teacher Award 2017.

This was held in annual section convention at Rayat Institute of Engineering and Information Technology. Dr. N P Singh, Dean, Planning & External Programs, IKG Punjab Technical University presented this award to both in the convention.

This award is given to both professors for their outstanding achievements in the field of Technical Education and Research.
Er. Anurag Sharma has around 70 research papers in the various Journals, International and National Conferences and he has guided around 20 M.Tech research scholars. This was his second time that he was getting the ISTE best teacher award as he had already received this award in the year 2013.

S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group congratulated both faculty members for this achievement and said, “We, at CT Group are continuously working for the enhancement of skills of the faculty members and also encourage them to do thorough research and innovation in their respective fields of interest.”
