Jalandhar, March 17, 2015: CT Institute of Hotel management (CTIHM) is organising a two day Hospitality fest christened as ‘Adhayay 2015’ on March 20-21 at Shahpur Campus. Twenty five Hotel Management college in and around Punjab will come together at one platform and showcase their talent. This was stated at a press conference by Dr.Rohit Sarin (Director, CTIHM), Kunwar Verma (Senior Sous Chef, Radisson Blu, Ludhiana) and Gaurav Khanna (Head, Media and Public Relations).
The fest has overall trophy of Rs. 51000 for the winner. There will be fifteen events and 500 participants are expected. Addressing the Press Conference, Dr. Rohit Sarin (Director, CTIHM) informed that the day one comprises of events relating to Hotel Management department while the day two comprises of events relating to Tourism department. The events will include Carving, theme layout planning, wall decoration, no fire cooking etc
All modern technologies followed in Hotels will be highlighted during the fest. There will be Guest lecture from renowned hoteliers will also be done. Kunwar Verma (Senior Sous Chef, Radisson Blu, Ludhiana)said that the fest will help to mould the students to enlighten themselves about hospitality world. Innovative techniques used in hotel like guest key card and Kiosk check in will be centre of attraction. Hospitality fest is organised every year and this is the third events. Every year the event is showing tremendous growth.
Dr. Sarin said, “The world of hospitality will be taught in this fest. Adhayay is a platform for Hotel Management students to hone their skills. Multiples of events will be organised in Hospitality fest to groom the students according to the needs of the industry.”
