CT Institute of Hotel Management inaugurates Entrepreneurship Hub Blossom
It’s an opportunity for the students to run this project like professionals: Manbir Singh Jalandhar, June 24, 2019: CT Institute of Hotel Management (CTIHM) inaugurated an Entrepreneurship Hub by the name Blossom where the students of Hotel Management who are interested in opening their own venture will be given an opportunity to run this project. The inauguration was done by CT Group Chairman Charanjit S Channi, Managing Director Manbir Singh, and Director CTIHM Dr. Bharat Kapoor along with staff and students. In this project, the interested students will manage all the operations of restaurant starting from designing of menu, cooking, serving and even marketing. This project will be mentored under the expert guidance of CTIHM faculty. Telling about the project, Dr. Bharat Kapoor said, “These types of projects are very much required to sharpen the skills of students and also help in motivating the students to start up their own ventures. After 4 years of Hotel Management degree the Industry expects the student to handle guests, develop marketing & pricing strategy, food cost and the taxation element. The Food Production practical curriculum has been designed in such a way that the products prepared during practical could be a part of this live project and can be sold commercially as well at a reasonable price.” Managing Director Manbir Singh motivated the students and said that the Group believes in preparing students as job providers rather than job seekers and this project will be a wonderful opportunity for the students to run this restaurant like professionals.
