CT Group signs MoU with Cambridge University Press

The MoU aims at enhancing the skills of CT students
Ludhiana, November 8, 2017: With an objective to offer global learning experience to the students and faculty, CT Educational Society (CTES) has joined hands with Cambridge University Press India Private Limited (CUPIPL) and has signed a collaborative Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cambridge University to jointly support the development of students.
CUPIPL, is a part of the University of Cambridge, are in the business of publishing of educational resources and further the University’s mission by disseminating knowledge in the pursuit of education, learning and research at the highest level of excellence.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Chairman, S. Charanjit Singh Channi; Managing Director, Manbir Singh; Vice Chancellor, Harpreet Singh; Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr Harsh Sadawarti and Director, Campus CT Group, Dr GS Kalra from CT Educational Society, whereas from Cambridge University were Mr. Paul Colbert, Global Sales Director, ELT, Cambridge University Press, UK and Mr. Ratnesh Jha, Managing Director, Cambridge University Press, South Asia and Mr KPS Walia, Director, Hipro Consultants Pvt. Ltd.
The MoU is signed with the objectives of developing and implementing professional development programme for faculty members of CTES; advancing learning opportunities, resources and certificates for teachers and students; providing support with better learning approach for learning and teaching of English at CTES and delivering desirable results.
Mr. Ratnesh Kumar Jha, Managing Director, Cambridge University Press, South Asia said: "The partnership with CT Educational Society restores our support and vision towards contributing to the development of students. We intend to evaluate individuals and provide mentorship for providing interest in the field of educational training, skill development and knowledge management.”
While, S. Charanjit S Channi, Chairman, CT Group said, “We, at CTES will make sure to blend traditional classroom teaching as well as digitalized solutions for general English courses. The students would be guided to be good speakers and that too in English. Spoken English is becoming a trend and we will be teaching the students to follow this trend being up to the mark.”
“As we at CTES promised to provide good quality education to students at every level, once again we have taken an initiative. Students would be boosted up for confidence building, become fluent in spoken English.” said, Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Pro VC, CT University.
