CT Group organizes Blood Donation camp under supervision of Civil Hospital
Jalandhar, February 28, 2019: With the intent of Corporate Social Responsibility and to encourage students to devote them towards the principle of community service, CT Group of Institutions organized a Blood Donation Camp under the guidance and supervision of Civil Hospital, Jalandhar. During the camp, 107 students and faculty members donated their blood voluntarily. A contingent of 10 team members comprising of doctors and technicians from Civil Hospital, IMA- Jalandhar branch and staff and students of CT Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences contributed effectively for the same under the guidance of Dr. Gagandeep Singh, In-charge, Blood Bank, Civil Hospital. The students were counseled for safety & significance of Blood Donation in societal interest. The camp was inaugurated by Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman CT Group of Institutions, Dr. G S Kalra, Campus Director, Principal CTIPS Dr. S.P. Gautam and other high officials of CT Group of Institutions. Harpreet Singh, Vice Chairman, CT Group of Institutions appraised the gathering with his motivational speech and said donating blood is a life saving attempt. “You don't lose anything if you donate blood, as human body has a regenerating mechanism" he added.
