Jalandhar, August 4, 2015: Under the skill development programme Hunar Se Rozgar Tak, CT Institute of Hotel Management (CTIHM) organised Blood Donation Camp at its Shahpur Campus in association with Blood Bank Jalandhar.
The members of the faculty, staff and students donated blood.  Every volunteer showed great interest in this humane endeavour and collectively donated 229 blood Units to save many lives.
Different teams of doctors and paramedical staff members from blood transfusion office provided all the support for the blood donation activities. They motivated students for donating blood. Students were very happy on the successful and amazing outcome of the camp. Students said that donating blood gives us the great thinking that our one unit of blood will save lives of three needy persons which make us even more motivated.
The blood camp was inaugurated by Mr. Harpreet Singh (Vice Chairman, CT Group of Institutions). He said, "It is very important for everyone that they donate blood as it helps in saving people's lives. I am very pleased to see that more and more people volunteered to donate blood. Congratulating blood donors S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) said, “It feels good to see an overwhelming response from the volunteer blood donors from our institutions.”
