CT Group holds expert talk on Entrepreneurial spirits
Don’t wait for opportunities rather create them: Prof. Samish Dalal Jalandhar, March 7, 2019: Keeping in mind the significance of entrepreneurship in modern era, CT Group of Institutions organized an expert session on Entrepreneurial spirits. The key speaker for the talk remained Prof.Samish Dalal, Associate Professor from SP Jain School of Global Management who has done his MBA from University of Queensland, Australia and did two executive programs from Harvard Business School and Wharton Business School. His case studies are world best sellers and he has been featured on TEDx recently too. While interacting with the young students, he said, “Genius has the capacity to take risks. Don’t wait for opportunities rather create them. Many are excited to become entrepreneurs but get discouraged when reality hits them. It’s just the spark and strategic thinking that you require to run a business and thus with a focused approach, you can reach to the pinnacle of success.” Later, Prof. Samish demonstrated the things beautifully while giving examples of branded water bottles or the brand names that people use to sell their products like goggles. He explained how a silly idea sometimes creates wonders as you don’t have much competition in the market then. He also spoke about prominence of a mentor, capacity to take risks and benefits of illogical ideas at times. Abhishek Soni, Deputy Director, Center for Career, Planning and Counseling (CCPC) said that the session has remained quite useful for the young minds who are on the path of creating their life. Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CT Group appreciated the effort of holding this talk and said that one should have spark of running any business. What one needs is a unique business idea, if it gets clicked then the world is yours, he added.
