Ferozepur, November 9, 2012: The Zira police has booked a husband for allegedly killing his wife and 7-8 years daughter and disposing off the dead bodies.
On the other hand, the Lakhwinder Singh resident of Zira has denied the charges as baseless with the plea that his wife and daughter both had left the house without informing him.
Giving this information, SI Jagdish Lal said, Subheg Singh resident of Karmuwala, father of Gurmit Kau, has complained to the SSP, Ferozepur that about 12 years back, Gurmit Kaur was married to Lakhwinder Singh son of Pritam Singh resident of Zira and they are blessed with a 7-8 years daughter Muskan. According to the complainant, both mother and daughter are missing and in their written complaint, they apprehend the killing by Lakhwinder Singh and disposing off the dead bodies. The police after registration of a case have started enquiring into the matter.
