Feroepur, November 2, 2012: The Lakho Ke Behram police have booked nine persons for virtually beating and injuring a women besides on the charge of firing in the air.
Giving this information ASI Davinder Singh informed the complainant Balwinder Kaur, in her complaint to the police has alleged that in village Karma, some persons tried to forcibly plough the land and Gurdip Singh, Surjit Singh, Bachhitar Singh, Maur Singh, Awtar Singh, Nirver Singh, Baljit Singh, Kandhara Singh and Mohinder Singh had beaten and injured her.
The police after registration of a case against all the nine persons have started further proceedings in the case.
No arrest has so far been made, said police sources.
