CRIME: 2 booked under NDPS Act

Ferozepur, November 24, 2012: The police claim to have arrested two persons from different locations and recovered 6 gm heroin.

Giving this information, Inspector Gurinder Singh, Sadar police station said, when the police party was checking the suspicious nature persons by putting a naka at the bridge of river near village Attari, ASI Major Singh, arrested one person who identified himself as Saraj from whom 5 gm heroin was recovered.

In another case, during the routine checking, ASI Gurmit Singh arrested Gurmit Singh of Arifke and recovered one gm heroin from his possession.

In both the cases, the police  have registered a cases under NDPS Act.
