CRICKET: 5 matches played in PAIW Corporate Cricket Tournament

Ludhiana, December 2, 2012: A total five matches were played in the Punjab Agro Implements Works (PAIW) Corporate Cricket Tournament at GNE ground here today.

The first match was played between Centex Fabrics Vs The Brew Masters. The former won the match by 13 runs. The Brew Master won the toss and elected to bowl first. Centex scored 79 runs in 10 overs, with help of 29 runs scored by Banny. Chandan and Upinder from The Brew Masters took 2 wickets each. Batting second The Brew Masters managed to score 66 runs in 10 overs with help of 25 runs scored by Hitesh. Man of the match: Banny (Centex Fabrics).
the second match was played between Platinum City and Dainik Bhaskar. The former was declared victorious by 7 wickets. Platinum city won the toss and elected to bowl first. Dainik Bhaskar were all out at 30 in 6 overs. Saurav took wickets.  Batting second Platinum City Chased the scored in 6 overs with 7 wickets left. Man of the match: Saurav (Platinum City).
Teams of Centex Fabrics and Punjab Agro Implements Works played the third match against each other. Centex Fabrics won the match by 6  wickets. Centex Fabrics won the toss and elected to bowl first. PAIW scored 7o runs in 10 overs, with help of 32 runs scored by Puneet Jain.  Thakur and Karan from Centex Fabrics took 2 wickets each. Batting second Centex Fabrics won the match by 6 wickets with the help of 22 runs Scored by Aamir. Man of the match: Aamir (Centex Fabrics).
The day’s fourth 4th match was played between Airtel and Connect. The latter won the match by 48 runs. Airtel won the toss and elected to bowl first. Connect scored 98 runs in 10 overs, with help of 36 runs scored by Paras and 23 runs from Gifty.  Batting second Airtel managed to score only 50 runs in 10
overs. Man of the match: Gifty (Connect).
The day’s fifth match was played between TRB Exports and Sandhu Group Dossil Fashions. Sandhu Group Dossil Fashions won the match by 50 Runs. Sandhu Group Dossil Fashions won the toss and elected to Bat first and scored 115 runs in 10 overs, with help of 38 runs scored by Nachatar
Singh and 33 runs from Rajdeep Singh. Batting second TRB managed to score 66 runs in 10 overs with help of 20 runs scored by Sonu. Man of the match was awarded with a trophy from Punjab Agro Implements works and Gift voucher from ERA jewellers.
