Chandigarh, February 16, 2016: Consulate General of Canada, Mr.Christopher Gibbins, today called on Prof.Kaptan Singh Solanki, the Governor of Punjab, Haryana and Administrator UT Chandigarh at Punjab Raj Bhavan and invited him to launch powerful photo exhibition ofGirls’ Voices: Speaking out against Child Marriage at Sukhna lake Chandigarh in the month of March, 2016.
Accepting the invitation of Mr.Gibbins, Prof.Solanki said that this exhibition would help in spreading the message across the diverse section of society to check early and forced marriage.
Mr.M.P.Singh, Principal Secretary to Governor Punjab is also present in the meeting.
