Congratulations Vipul Mehta

Chandigarh, September 2, 2012: Bikram Singh Majithia, Revenue and Public Relations Minister, Punjab today felicitated Amritsar lad Vipul Mehta for clinching a prestigious title of Indian Idol-6 through a tough competition, which was a matter of great pride for Punjab.

In a greeting message, Majithia said that it was not easy to win the title of Indian Idol as numbers of budding talented stars from across the country were performing in the competition but the performance of Vipul was unmatchable. He said that Amritsar has already given top icons to Indian Cinema including world renowned actors Rajesh Khanna, Dara Singh and legendary singer Mohammad Rafi and now Vipul is going to add new feather in the cap thereof.

Extending congratulations to the Vipul’s family, Majithia said that it was too a matter of great pride from Punjab that the other two participants of final round Davinder Pal Singh and Amit Kumar were also from Ludhiana and Amritsar respectively. He said that this unique performance and achievement of Vipul would not only give a boost to the music industry of Punjab but also motivate the youngsters towards music.
