CONDOLENCE: CM condoles passing away of H.I.S. GREWAL

Chandigarh, December 21, 2012: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of 1992 - batch IAS officer of Punjab cadre Harjit Inder Singh Grewal, who was Secretary Public Grievances and Pensions and passed away this morning after a massive cardiac arrest. He was 57 and survived by wife and a son.

In his condolence message, the Chief Minister described Grewal as an able administrator and a fine human being, who always discharged his duties with professional commitment and utmost dedication.   

Sharing his heart felt sympathies with the members of the bereaved family, Badal prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and give courage to the family in this hour of grief.
