Jalandhar, July 11, 2015: Commerce Forum DAV College, Jalandhar pioneered a poster making and slogan writing competition on the occasion of World Population Day under the supervision of Dr.Sanjeev Sharma (President Commerce Forum). Sh.Sarbjeet Rai D.S.P Kapurthala was the chief guest. College Principal Dr.B.B Sharma also graced the event.
D.S.P Rai emphasized on the importance to get aware the masses with problems of over population, maternal health, family planning and gender inequality.
Dr.B.B Sharma also annotated to this topic. Along with other maestros, Vice Principal P.K Kapoor, Prof.Vijay Gupta (H.O.D Commerce) , Manish Khanna (Public Relation Officer), Ashok Kapoor, Ram Kumar, Rajiv Sharma ,Rajiv Puri,Manav Aggarwal, Vijendar, Sandeep Marwaha,Amit Jain , Dr.Rajwant Kaur, Prof.Komal Soni, Shailja Sharma, Priyanka Taneja, Harjot, Shivani graced the event.
Among the winners Rajni, Shivantika Nagar, Neha got 1st three positions respectively in Slogan Writing and Harleen, Shikha and Navjot got 1st three positions respectively in Poster Making. All the students from M.Com participated whole heartedly in the event.
