Chandigarh, November 15, 2012:The Punjab government has put the construction work for Faridkot-Kotkapura and Shahkot-Moga-Ramgarh National Highway on fast track and orders have been issued to complete both roads by March, 2013.
Disclosing this here today, PWD Minister Punjab Sharanjit Singh Dhillon said that the National Highway-54 leading from Faridkot to Kotkapura is of 16.20 KM of length would be constructed by world class technology. He said that Rs.1022.25 lac project would be completed in record four months.
Dhillon further said that for NH-703 leading from Shahkot-Moga-Ramgarh to be constructed on the estimated cost of Rs.959.13 lac, would also be completed in four months.
