College of Nursing, DMCH today organises 25th TNAI

The inaugural function was started by a warm welcome address by Dr Jasbir Kaur, Principal, College of Nursing, DMCH and President TNAI Punjab State followed by formal introduction of the chief guest Dr Kanwaljit Kaur Gill, Ex. President and patron of TNAI Punjab State. Lamp Lighting was performed by the dignitaries followed by presidential address and unfolding of theme by the President, TNAI Punjab State. @ www.cityairnews.com
 
Ludhiana, October 18, 2014: College of Nursing, DMCH today organised 25th TNAI (74th) Punjab State Conference-2014 on behalf of TNAI Punjab State in Dumra Auditorium. The theme of the conference was ‘Developing effective leadership in Nursing: today, tomorrow for quality patient care’
Charanjeet Kaur Cheema,Registrar, PNRS,Chandigarh was the chief guest and also inaugurated the conference. Prem Kumar Gupta, Secretary, DMCH Managing Society presided over the inaugural function.
The inaugural function was started by a warm welcome address by Dr Jasbir Kaur, Principal, College of Nursing, DMCH and President TNAI Punjab State followed by formal introduction of the chief guest Dr Kanwaljit Kaur Gill, Ex. President and patron of TNAI Punjab State. Lamp Lighting was performed by the dignitaries followed by presidential address and unfolding of theme by the President, TNAI Punjab State.
Award ceremony for state awardees for their contribution in enrolling the life membership of TNAI was held following the Annual financial report by Mrs GK Walia, Secretary, TNAI Punjab State.SNA scholarship was also distributed for sum of Rs.5,000 for B.Sc Nursing and Rs 10,000 for M.SC Nursing to 14 meritorious students as per their academic performance.
In the scientific session, a panel discussion on sub theme ‘Nursing Leadership: A force for change’ was conducted by the faculty members of College of Nursing, concurrently poster competition based on research paper was also held.
A role play based on the main theme was performed by the students of College of Nursing, DMCH. As part of cultural programme guest items in the form of folk dances were also performed by students of other Nursing colleges of Punjab
The conference was participated by 350 life members of TNAI from different places of Punjab state.
