Ludhiana, December 21, 2018: Christmas is a very important festival for the Christians, however is celebrated all across the world. It marks the birth of the Savior Lord Jesus Christ. It is all about the joy of brightening others lives, bearing each other’s burdens & supplanting empty hearts and lives with generous gifts of love and peace. Every year this sacred day is observed with religious zeal and sincere prayers in the premises of College of Nursing. This year college of Nursing at CMC celebrated it on December 21st, 2018.

Dr.Reena Jairus, Professor & Principal, College of Nursing welcomed the dignitaries, guests, teachers & students. College choir worshiped the Lord with traditional and modern Christmas carols. The Christmas message was given by Rev. Alex Peter from Fellowship Department. The whole gathering was then enlightened with the message from the Director, Dr. William Bhatti. He gave an inspiring Christmas message which reminded us the love and peace brought to earth by Jesus Christ. He wished the staff and students a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

The soulful and pleasant carols by students mesmerized all and filled the air with happiness. Continuing with the Christmas merriment students performed choreography on “Jesus the reason of season”. They depicted that people are running behind the Santa and the other superheroes of this world. But from the beginning God has decided to gave His begotten son that is Jesus Christ who gave Himself as a reward so that individuals will know the sacrifices that he did for mankind to achieve salvation and He is the Redeemer of this world.

The most awaited moment was “Arrival of Santa” who had a merry time with the gathering and distributed gifts among students. At the end all enjoyed the fellowship and relished the Christmas Lunch together as a family in beautifully decorated and illuminated College of Nursing.
