Jalandhar, October 20, 2014: Lovely Professional University welcomed Mahesh Munjal-the Chairman & Managing Director of Majestic Auto Ltd (a Hero Group Company) at its campus today. One of the strong business tycoons of India, Munjal mentored LPU students for brilliant professional career. Occasion was an exclusive mentoring opportunity for the university students through CEO Mentors’ Program organised by LPU School of Business. More than 2500 students of MBA and other streams attended the session for personal growth under the suggestions and advices of great capitalist of the country.
Munjal placed high-end teachings before the students in the simplest possible interactive manner by reaching to students’ places at Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium of the University. Prior to this, LPU Chancellor Ashok Mittal welcomed the influential industrialist of the country to the campus.
While mentoring LPU students, Munjal took numerous examples from common life, sports, mobile-phone games and more. Munjal told students about the recipe of success: “We should add passion to whatever we undertake to do. There is probably nothing more significant in one’s life than being able to say ‘I love what I do’. After having complete knowledge about our assignment we should add our devotion and involvement to it for its successful outcome. The man who does not work for the love of work is neither likely to make success nor solace in life. If one does not achieve, one probably does not matter at all in one’s life.” Adding, Munjal asked students to be open to responsibility, set an example for others, bear the criticism, and never to shy away from failure.  He told students that failures are real successes as these always provide great learning.
