CMC Observes World AIDS Day

Ludhiana, December 6, 2018: College of Nursing, Christian Medical College & hospital, Ludhiana observed world AIDS day at Ewing Christian Senior Secondary school, Ludhiana on the theme “know your status” under the guidance of Dr.Reena Jairus, Principal, Prof.Glory Samuel, Vice Principal and HoD of Community Health Nursing Department and Sanjeet Johnson, Associate Professor, assisted by Nisha and Bhawna. Tanya Soloman and Salome David, Nursing students welcomed Rev.Avinash Kumar, Principal. 11th and 10+2 Medical stream students were the participants of this event.
Sanjeet Johnson shared his views regarding mode of transmission through blood transfusion, used syringes & sexual contact. Also thrown light on prevention of AIDS by use of condoms & avoid use of used syringes. Nursing students performed the nukkad natak & displayed posters on AIDS which was well appreciated by school students and teachers.
