CM Punjab to inaugurate World's Largest Anti Drug Campaign to be organized by JAC of Unaided Colleges

Ludhiana, July 29, 2018: Chief Minister, Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh would inaugurate World's Largest Anti Drug Campaign on 30th July i.e tomorrow in Chandigarh to be organized by Joint Action Committee (JAC). Various Cabinet Ministers including Sh. Brahm Mohindra, Health & Medical Education Minister; S. Sadhu Singh Dharamsot, Welfare Minister for SCs and BCs; S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Technical Education & Industrial Training Minister; Sh Rana Sodhi, Sports and Youth Affairs would also participate in the function. Chairman, JAC, Sh Ashwani Sekhari would preside over the function.
Spokesman JAC, Dr. Anshu Kataria said that in next 2 months this campaign would be taken to 5 lakh youth of 1600 Unaided Colleges situated in 22 Districts of Punjab wherein students would take oath against the drugs. JAC would attempt to make new World record to fight against the drugs.
This campaign has got support of 13 associations of Unaided Colleges of Punjab including Punjab Unaided Technical Institutions Association (PUTIA); Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA); Association of Self Financed Colleges of Education (Pbi. Univ.);Nursing Training Institutions Association of Punjab; Confederation of Punjab Unaided Institutions; Academic Advisory Forum (AAF); ETT Federation Punjab; Association of Self Financed Colleges of Education (Panjab Univ.); Punjab Unaided Degree Colleges Association (PUDCA); ITI Association Punjab; Association of Polytechnic Colleges, Punjab; Association of Self Financed Colleges of Education (GNDU Univ.).
