Chandigarh, March 25, 2014: Dr Rakesh Kumar Jaswal, Director, Cardiology, Fortis Hospital, Mohali, delivered a lecture on ‘Transradial Interventions: Are the clinical benefits real?” at 12th Annucla Scientific Symposium of China Interventional Therapeutics at Shanghai recently.
Dr Jaswal was the only faculty from Chandigarh region invited by the Chinese Medical Association (CMA) and National Centre for Cardiovascular Diseases of China (NCCDC). The programme was attended by over 6,000 experts from the world over.
Dr Jaswal has performed thousands of Transradial Angioplasty procedures and he is highest experienced transradial interventional cardiologist in the entire North India. In this field he is among first for in the country. He has participated in various international conferences such as Trans Techniques Asia Pacific Seoul (2008 & 2009), China Interventional Techniques Beijing (2009 & 2010), TCT-2010 Washington and Transradial Interventional Conference Ahmedabad (2007, 2008 & 2009).
