CICU organises Awareness  Programme on Learn to Run Your Business in Systematic Way

Ludhiana, July 6, 2016: Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU), Ludhiana organised Awareness Programme on Learn to Run Your Business in a Systematic Way on Wednesday at CICU Head Office, Gill Road, Ludhiana.

Sh.Avtar Singh, President CICU while inaugurating the programme said that industry and trade sector of Punjab is passing through a very difficult phase due to lower demand, high competition and financial constraints. He suggested that there are number of schemes for the development of SMEs and industry should adopt to avail the benefits.

Sh. Upkar Singh Ahuja, General Secretary mentioned that how to work in a systematic way & adopts the modern practices in SMEs. It is tough time for SME’s and working in systematic way will lead to growth of SME’s in a volatile time. He explained in details about the importance of firm business plan & various Pillars of business plan to run business smoothly & grow.

Sh. Jagbir Singh Sokhi, President Sewing Machine Development Club Ludhiana said that ISO 9000 Management System are required by buyers as it has become mandatory term in the tenders floated by the various Government Departments.

Sh. S.S. Bedi Former Assistant Director MSME presented the details of the ISO Management Systems and its benefits to the participants. He said that there is a 75% subsidy for acquiring ISO Systems, which is maximum Rs. 75000/- per unit. He also provided the details of other MSME schemes for benefits of industry and trade sectors.

Sh. S.B. Singh, Publicity Secretary CICU aware the participant about 9000 Management system which can help the MSMEs units to increase the productivity and decrease in non-confirmance and increase the effectiveness in employees by its implementation.

This interactive program was attended by more than 40 leading industrialists like S/Sh. Rajnish Bansal, Sanjay Bhatia, Didarjit Singh, Manjit Singh, R.P. Nagpal, Daljit Singh Dico, Aanand Kumar and Kulwant Singh, General Secretary Sewing Machine Development Club Ludhiana.
