Ludhiana, September 17, 2018: Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings organized One Day Workshop on Daily Work Management- “Nichijo Gemba Kanri” a Japanese style of Management, at CICU Complex, Focal Point Ludhiana. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU in his inaugural speech emphasized that industry has a challenging time ahead and it can sustain and grow only by working smartly. In the present scenario, implementation of daily work management is very critical to the survival of the organization. Traditional form of costing and cost management have their limitations. Therefore, it is very important that latest techniques and smart work are vital for the bottom, middle and top level employees/management. It is must to learn and implement the daily work Management Systems to efficiently manage departments, functions and processes, wherein processes must be define, standardized, controlled and improved by the process of owners. Daily Work Management is a focused approach on retaining and improving performance of a company on Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety and Morale (PQCDSM). Organizations and teams put in their best efforts and resources (5Ms) to reach the improved state, ultimately improving the profitability of organization for sustainable business growth. The interactive and thought provoking workshop will be conducted by Reena Singh, Head Capability building with a Leading Consultant Company “POSSIBLERS”. She is a competent professional and leading coach, leadership trainer for sustainable and tangible results in Behavioral Competency Trainings with more than 18 years of experience in Human Resource Development and Training for Leadership, Managerial and Supervisory Level. She is a Certified NLP Practitioner from IPANLP, INLPTA & ABNLP, Certified to Implement Assessment Centers using psychometric tools from TVRLS, Certified for Conducting Thomas Profile DISC – a personality profile assessment tool, CPTP from Carlton Advanced Management Institute, USA and certified Internal Auditor from TQMI. She has delivered extensive training programs on various topics across the country. She delivered the contents in very simple and flexible manner quoting shop – floor experiences, group activities, behavioral approach, situations and simulation, audio – video, quiz presentation and questions- answers, which helped the participants to understand the concepts and essentials of DWM, Roles and Responsibilities of Leader in Standard Work, 4 Ms (Man, Machine, Material & Method), Ideas to Sustain the Improvements and Tips for Involving Teams and achieving Visual Controls & Standardizations. More than 50 participants comprising proprietors, partners, directors, general managers, plant head and senior and middle level managers, who are involved in Planning, Execution and Monitoring of the work relating to all important Functions of an organization for sustainable business growth and continuous improvements.
