CICU organised seminar on Decoding Union Budget 2015-16

Ludhiana, March 4, 2015: Avtar Singh, President, Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakinsg (CICU), Ludhiana said that the purpose of this seminar is to provide in-depth knowledge about the implications of changes introduced in the proposals introduced in the Union Budget 2015-16. 

This seminar was conducted by R.K. Hasija, Advocate/Partner, Swati Gupta, Joint Partner, Krati Singh, Principal Associate, Satish Dhingra, Senior Associate and Sumeet Khurana, Director-Direct Tax from Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys, Chandigarh.

Upkar Singh Ahuja, General Secretary said that eminent experts from Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys, Chandigarh explained at length and breadth regarding settlement cases, TDS changes, reopening and revision of assessment, curbing cash transactions related to property transactions, amendments in search cases, repetitive appeal, incentives to individuals, curbing black money transactions, enhancement in Central Excise, extension in CENVENT credit limit, Service Tax on reverse charge, mitigation of penalties, physical exports eligibility for availing benefits, changes in Service Tax etc.
