CICU conducting interaction with European Environmental Experts on Oct 17

Ludhiana, October 16, 2014: Avtar Singh, President, Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU), Ludhiana in a statement released today said that CICU is taking various initiatives for facilitation and up-gradation of Ludhiana industry for meeting out pollution related specifications.

In this context, CICU with tie-up arrangement European Business and Technology Centre (EBTC) is conducting interaction with European Environmental Experts at 11 am on October 17 at CICU Complex, Focal Point, Ludhiana. The renowned experts, which will guide and interact with key industrialists are as under: Ulf Burmam, Water Expert, Osten Ekengren, Engineering material Expert, Arvind Chopra, Tech transfer & IPR expert, Monish Verma, Environment Expert, Deepak Arora, IPR Expert, Priyesh Salunke, waste water expert (tbc) and Sunil Sachdeva, Waster water expert (tbc).  These experts will also apprise the participants about the various benefits of using modern techniques for controlling pollution. PPCB Authorities will also participate in this interaction for resolving various pollution related issues of different categories of industries. These experts shall be visiting eight different types of  industries comprising auto parts, machine tools, engineering goods, textile & leather units operating in Ludhiana for providing on the spot specific guidance for controlling pollution. They shall also be visiting CETP functioning at Phase-VIII, Focal Point, Ludhiana to view its progress, significance and contribution in protecting environment for electroplating industries.
