Christmas celebrations at GH-3 of PU Chandigarh: Residents of Sarojini Hall (Girls Hostel no. 3) Panjab University, Chandigarh celebrated Christmas and bid farewell to the year 2019 with thanksgiving note to the workers of their hostel. Small gift was given as token of appreciation to Mess workers, mali’s, cleaners, attendants and office staff by Dean Students Welfare(M) Prof. Emanual Nahar and Dean Students Welfare(W) Prof. Neena Capalash and hostel Warden Dr. Ravneet. DSWs appreciated the resident's gesture and encouraged the workers for rendering their services with diligence and honesty and wanted them to do the same in future. Entire hostel was decorated and vibrated with the echoes of Christmas carols. A Christmas tree was put up in the hostel premises, decorated with small ornaments, stars and gifts. The main attraction of the evening was when the 4 years old little boy dressed in the costume of Santa Claus distributed chocolates to the residents and staff made everyone burst into laughter, the boundless joy of celebrating the festival was visible on the faces of all residents and staff members.
