I used to study in a convent school so we used to have a grand Christmas celebration. I really enjoyed it when our teachers would dress as Santa and gift us candies and sweets and yes, how can I forget the lip smacking Christmas cake. It used to be a lot of fun and I really miss that time. These days, I usually celebrate Christmas with my friends and family by going out with them. Christmas for me has always been very special, mainly because of one person – Irene Aunty. My fondest memories of Christmas are the times I have spent with aunty relishing on Christmas sweets and singing carols. As a child I never celebrated Christmas but in school, teachers would dress up as Santa and spread the cheer and that would really cheer everyone up. Now that I am playing a role of a teacher, I want to be the Santa on my sets and try to spread the Christmas cheer for everyone.

Christmas celebrations at school used to be so much fun as we used to have a party where Santa Claus would come. As every kid back then, I also believed that Santa Claus would come at night and leave a gift and I always got excited seeing Christmas gift beside my bed on the Christmas morning. Now, it has become a ritual for me to seek blessings of Mount Mary on Christmas. The Church is one of my favorite places in Mumbai as I feel peaceful there.
